What is miniZ
miniZ is an exclusively Equihash mining software. This mining software can mine cryptocurrencies like Beam, Zelcash, Bitcoin Gold and others. miniZ is a command-line program and takes a 2% of mining time developer fee.
Download the software
First, you have to download the software through this link. Make sure you choose the right file for your OS and the right version depending on your CUDA version. CUDA is an NVIDIA graphic processor which enables to use it instead of the CPU. If you are on Windows, the password of the archive is miniZ.
Set up your mining
After you download the software, launch the miniZ GUI file. A new window will be displayed. On the launcher, you have several inputs to set up your mining. Here is all the information you have to put for mining Beam to Cruxpool.
Name: This input is for giving a name to your future mining file. For example, miniz_beam.
Enable SSL: This setting allows you to activate the SSL protocol to connect you at your mining pool. In the case of Cruxpool, you have to check this option.

Password: You have to put the password of your mining pool. In the case of Cruxpool, put x in this input.
Algo: Choose the algorithm you want to use depending on the coin you want to mine. If you want to mine Beam, choose beam3 / equihash 144,5s.
Pers: This setting enables you to have a personalized GPU configuration for your mining. If you want to mine Beam, choose Beam-PoW. This setting is optional.
Extra: In this input, you can add additional command lines arguments. To see all the extra command lines, click here.
Automatic restart: Activate this option to restart your mining rig automatically when there is a shutdown.
Monitor your mining
After setting up your mining, you can start your mining by clicking on Start. A mining file is going to be created with the configuration you put on the GUI launcher. For monitoring and see your mining activity from your miner, click on Telemetry. A new window will be displayed on your browser and you will have information like your hashrate, the share per minute ratio and your card temperature. You can also monitor your mining with the Cruxpool dashboard.
