What is Yoroi Wallet ?
Yoroi is a web light wallet for Cardano and Ergo available as a browser extension and as a mobile application.
Light wallets don’t need to download or synchronize the blockchain. This means that once you open the wallet, you can send or verify the reception of transactions right away.
Download Yoroi wallet
Yoroi is available to download on Yoroi website. The wallet is available as a browser extension on computer platforms like Linux, macOS or Windows and on smartphone platforms like iOS and Android.
Open an Ergo Wallet on yoroi
Click on Ergo, fill in the gap, Ergo will then give you a back-up sentence. This really important sentence will allow you to restore your wallet in case you forget your password.
Receive your crypto
To receive crypto, go on your Yoroi extension in your browser and click on it.
Once you are on the Yoroi extension, click on the “Receive” tab. You will find your wallet address written and in QR Code format.
You can then copy and paste your wallet address and transmit it to the person or website supposed to send you your coins.
Send your crypto
To send cryptocurrencies, go on your Yoroi extension in your browser. Once you are in the Yoroi extension, click on the “Send” tab.
Write out in the receiver box the wallet address of your receiver, under it the amount you would like to send him and then click on Next.
